OASIS LIVES FOREVER

THE START OF OASIS: Oasis' chance to strike it big came in 1993, when the band got a ride with 18 Wheeler, a band that was also on there way up to Scotland. Oasis relized after traveling for hundreds of miles with this band that they wanted more than to mingle in the auidence they wanted to perform live.
After having to threaten the managers of the club they were allowed to perform only 4 short song sets. To there luck the boss of Creation Records, Alan MeGee was in the auidence watching his newly signed group 18 Wheeler. McGee offered Oasis a five-album contract on the spot.

In 1994 Oasis worked as hard as they could because they wanted to be able to release a new single every 2 or three months. Which led to there first debut single "Supersonic."
However before that people were only hearing about Oasis, the things that fans are currenlty heaing. How there were furious band fights, and and they were hooligan rockers. However Oasis planned to make there first gig outside of Britain on Feb. 18 with the Verve. But it was supposidly a disater. Noel was known to be the only one that got off the ferry from Halwick. Liam and Paul were reportly drunk, they were harrasing security guards and police officers. Liam thought the idea was funny and believed that it was something that rock and roll bands did, but Noel did not have the same opinion. He believed as that rock n roll as quoted "is playing in Amsterdam coming back, and telling everyone you blew em away, not getting thrown off a ferry like some scouse schlepper with handcuffs, thats just football hooliganism. In April 1994 Oasis released there first single Supersonic. Also on the Supersonic single there is "Take Me Away" a acoustic song writen by Noel, "I Will Believe", and "Columbia."

"Women have had me over. It's happened twice in the last month. After I've bopped 'em, they've gone and sold it to the papers and made money out of it. Fair play. But I've just come in their mouth and gone off, so therefore I've had tehm over. Tied l-all baby." stated Liam in Rolling Stone Magazine, May 2nd 1996..
Its hard for me to get informaiton on Oasis that is really current so if you go to http://hometown.aol.com:80/deaner82/music1/index.htm you can get awesome info there!! OASIS LIVE... I have been to 2 Oasis concerts both located at the Patriot Center and out of all the concerts i have been to i found them very entertaining. Liams humorous actions, and looks keep you entertained the whole time. But to top it off Noel usually does an acoutistic set with a few songs. At the first concert I went to he played Whatever, and Wonderwall, and also Yellow Subermarine. At the second concert he played Talk Tonight and Acquise. The second concert I went to was awesome becasue i was in the very frount row I had to fight my way up there, and there opening band was Corner Shop (Brumful of Ashca), but the first concert i went to Luster opened i can remeber people throwing shoes up on the stage and when they said they would have to stop people screamed "Get the fu@k off the stage, as the lead singer turned around to stick is as@ out to the crowd someone threw a shoe at him and hit him right in the as@. Then Oasis came out, but with no Liam you know he had to make a grand opening. When all the girls in the audience gasped you knew to grab onto the bar or person it frount of you because when he came out if it was to your section the nails of the girl behind you would suddenly become attached to your face. Most of the Oasis concerts close with I Am The Walrus but i have talked to some people that say that is not true even though i though i had heard it though an interview, oh well.. just some concert imput
